Anticipating the global movement towards solutions that preserve the environment, improve the comfort of workers and minimize negative impact on the neighborhood, Geismar proposes a new global approach towards a sustainable railway world “the sustainable way to rail” which consolidates all its innovative electrically-powered solutions under the name Activion systems.
Trolley for ultrasonic investigation of rail defects
Filus X17 & X27
The Filus X17 & X27 enable a single operator to carry out continuous NDT rail testing with a small portable trolley
Our ultrasonic inspection trolleys include 9 separate probes orientated at different angles for each rail, which offer you accurate indentification of a full range defects such as kidney-shaped defects, star cracks, vertical cracks in the weld, porosity, corrosion defects and many more…
The on-board computer system comes with integrated GPS display for the localisation of any defects found. Therefore, it assists your operator in returning to the location of the suspected defect
Our dedicated rail flaw inspection software allows for further analysis of any rail defects
